99 Restaurant in East Longmeadow, Ma

The 99 Restaurant food chain might be like any other Restaurant chain but I see it as more of the neighborhood Cheers. Yes the food might be the same at all of the 99 location restaurants. Most people would think so, but they would be wrong. The employees at the 99 restaurants in East Longmeadow, Ma are an exceptional bunch. They treat everyone like family. Lets start from when you first walk in the door. The hostess staff is very friendly. The hostess staff is always opening up the doors for their customers. It such a great feeling to have someone welcome your to their restaurant. I know many other restaurants who have their hostess staff do this, but when you walk into the 99 restaurant, it feel like your coming to visit old friends.
The wait staff is exceptional. Yes they know their menu front ways and backwards. They are always there to give you a suggestions.  If there is something that you don’t want put on your order they will always make sure its not put on your order. Like most restaurants from time to time the kitchen does get backed up, but it’s never a problem here. The servers always give you a free bowl of popcorn. If you need more just ask a server and they will get you more.
If you won’t want to sit and eat dinner but rather come in for a drink, head straight when you walk in the door to the bar. The bar at the here is always busy. There is hardly every a night when there’s not someone to talk to. And if it is then you can just talk to the wonderful bartenders. (Shari (who goes by Red), Melissa, Leann, Justine, and Michelle) There are 5 televisions to watch a game on. The customers are always friendly at the bar. There is always someone to talk to.
The food, well to some people is just food. To me it’s like eating at a local neighbor house. The menu changes twice a year, in the fall and in the spring. They have everything from appetizers, to burgers, to salads, to seafood, to steak and chicken. I think the best part of the food is one that I believe a lot of people miss. After you order you finish your meal and drink, make sure you look at your receipt. Most of the time you will find a coupon for a free appetizer for you next visit. I have heard lots of people over look this issue. The thing with their appetizers is they are big enough to make a meal for you. Who wouldn't love a free meal? I know I do.
I was there on Saturday night. Thursday- Sunday after 4 pm they have Prime Rib. I’m not much of a steak person unless I’m eating at a steak house. I have to say to the cook that night. You did an exceptional job that night. The prime rib melted in my mouth. I didn't need to add any condiments or flavoring to it. It was amazing.
More then anything, the employees of the 99 in East Longmeadow, Ma are exceptional. They are so friendly you would think you are a friend’s house or your neighbor hood cheers. Why not some down to the 99 Restaurant and see the action for yourself. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

I grew up with restaurant knowledge in my blood. My grandmother on my mom's side of my family was the third person to ever go through Wilton Cake Decorating School when it first opened in IL  She as collected every pan, book, everything Wilton made from when they first opened their cake decorating school until she died. I grew up baking all kinds of pastries when I was a kid. At the age of 8 I was decorating cakes with my grandma.  When at the age of 16 I got a job working in the bakery in a local grocery store. I moved from there to go to Culinary School.  In 1999 graduated with a degree in culinary art with a minor in pastry art from New Hampshire College, (now called Southern New Hampshire University) In 2000, I got two more degrees. One in Hospitality and Restaurant Management. And One in Tourism Management.  I have worked for various bakeries and restaurants. I have learned the ins and outs of the restaurant industry. This blog is not to post blame on restaurants but rather to give credit to those of the hospitality industry who give wonderful service. From the first person the customer see to the last person the customer comes intact with and all those people in between.
